ISV WAREHOUSE CONNECTOR FOR D365
Consntrade · ISVConnect automated warehouses and external logistics partners to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Easy to configure. With as many connections as your business needs.
01 — YOUR BENEFITS
One shared approach for different systems. Right where your warehouse processes already run.
Define which processes and data each connection handles. Standard integration is configuration-based, with custom extensions available when needed.
Connect warehouse solutions from multiple manufacturers within a single legal entity. Each connection has its own configuration.
Keep using your D365 warehouse work. Orders, responses and status information come together in the integrated connector.
02 — HOW IT ALL WORKS TOGETHER
Choose a workflow. See how D365, LogiSparq and your warehouse system work together.
Put-away work in D365 triggers the order for the connected warehouse system.
A configured put work line is created at the connected warehouse’s inbound location.
The connector creates the external warehouse order and sends the required data.
The system selects the internal storage location and carries out put-away.
LogiSparq processes the response using the corresponding D365 business logic.
For example, for sales orders, transfer orders or material supply to production.
Pick work from the connected warehouse triggers the outbound process.
The connector sends the external order with item and quantity details.
The warehouse system picks the goods and reports the result.
The response is processed. Quantity shortages can also be handled through short picking.
The external system provides inventory information for reconciliation in D365.
The external warehouse provides inventory information for reconciliation.
The connector imports the data for inventory reconciliation.
Counting or adjustment journals capture the necessary inventory adjustments.
Posting follows the configuration, with automatic posting and defined limits where required.
The diagrams show the flow of information. Triggers and processing are configured for each connection and process.
03 — CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES
The black-box approach, explained simply: D365 sees the external warehouse system as a single location. The warehouse system manages the details within the facility itself.
A SHARED DATA FOUNDATION
Items, units, customers and vendors: choose which master data each connector sends to its target system. Export uses D365 Data Management and the appropriate format transformation.
04 — YOUR WAREHOUSE NETWORK
LogiSparq connects different solutions through a shared integration approach. Interfaces and processes are configured for the individual system.
For high-bay warehouses, vertical lifts, carousels and automated small-parts storage.
Put-away · Retrieval · ReplenishmentFor automated guided vehicles, autonomous mobile robots and automated packaging systems.
Material supply · HandoffsFor external warehouse management systems, middleware and third-party logistics providers (3PL).
Purchase orders · Shipments · InventoryStöcklin / KNAPP / Kardex / Servus / MIA / AutoStore
System examples from our project experience. The specific integration depends on the interface, version and process scope.05 — FROM PLAN TO CONNECTION
We start with your process and target system. Configuration and joint testing build on that foundation.
Clarify the warehouse system, interface and required inbound and outbound processes.
Set up the connection, work types, master data and data formats in D365.
Check orders, responses and exception handling with the connected system.
Put the agreed processes into operation and monitor them through the connector.
GOOD TO KNOW
LogiSparq builds on Advanced Warehouse Management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. The relevant warehouses must have warehouse management processes enabled. For automated warehouses, the black-box division of responsibilities described above must fit the process.
Standard connections are configured: processes, data fields, target formats and communication are set up to match the system. The framework provides extension points for special requirements. We assess whether extensions are needed based on your interface and processes.
Yes. LogiSparq supports multiple connections within a single legal entity. You can combine different systems and manufacturers and define processes and data transfers for each connector.
These include goods receipt, picking for sales and transfer orders, raw material picking for production, finished goods put-away, replenishment, inventory movements and inventory reconciliation. The processes used are configured for each connection.
Orders can be transmitted in response to events or on a schedule. Data can be transformed into the required target format, such as XML or JSON, and sent to a REST interface, for example. Master data is exported according to the configuration, while responses feed back into D365 processing.
LogiSparq extends your existing D365 warehouse processes. Your external system retains its internal warehouse control, while D365 manages the relevant inventory information and business processes. The connector links both sides.
